Andiamo Glass Design
Robert Spielholz and Kathleen Hargrave are a husband and wife team who also collaborate their personal artistic voice to create unique works in hot glass. Andiamo Glass Design was founded by this team in 1986 for the sole purpose of exploring the nature of contemporary art glass.

Kathleen approached hot glass with a broad background in two dimensional art with an emphasis on printmaking. She and Robert established Andiamo Glass Design in 1986 and she has been working in hot glass with a focus on painting and etching imagery for the past nine years. She studied techniques painting with Erwin Eisch in 1986 and sand casting with Jose Chardiet in 1990 at the Pilchuk School.

In the early 1970's, Robert studied and taught glassblowing at the Arts and Crafts Co-operative in Seattle. Since that time he has been working in his own studio. exploring new variations of traditional techniques relating surface design and imagery to sculptural and traditional vessel forms, working largely with blown and cast glass.
